Last day of swimming class was on July 5th. We swam with our instructor and a few experienced swimmers to the second buoy at Ala Moana beach, which seemed at the time a far distance for a beginner like me, but it wasn't too bad it was actually nice and enjoyable.
I'll continue to swim 2-3 days a week and start logging my swims here just like I do with my workouts and runs (if I ever start running again).
Overall the classes were very helpful, I would definitely recommend it for beginner swimmers. It helped me boost my confidence swimming in the open water.
